1. WINNING WORKPLACE PRODUCTIVITY USING FOUR QUESTIONS

Win in your workplace every day by asking yourself these four critical questions.

  1. What is my number-one productivity drain and how can I stop it?
  2. What energy level do I need to create to perform at my peak?
  3. How can I get my mind into the productivity zone by thinking differently?
  4. How can I stay in the zone of high performance once I'm in it?

=========================

2. MENTAL GAME QUOTES

"Make use of time, let not advantage slip."
--Shakespeare

"You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do."
--Henry Ford

3. WINNERS USE THESE FIVE PHRASES

Mental toughness requires mental discipline. Discipline of thought. Discipline of word. Watch what you say and think. Think, talk and act like the winner you are. Place these phrases into of your vocabulary--forever.

  1. What would a winner do in this situation?
  2. On my best day, what performance level would I expect from myself?
  3. Is what I'm doing right now helping me be successful?
  4. What advice would my coach or mentor give me about this challenge?
  5. When I look back after this is over, how important will I rate this?

=========================

4. EIGHT MILITARY MIND TOOLS FOR BATTLING WORKPLACE WARFARE

Ever wonder how US Rangers Special Forces train their minds? The Ranger SERE School is an acronym based on Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE). This course trains them to stay alive when lost or separated from their unit. There are eight survival techniques taught. How many of these can you apply to your career as you make your way through the corporate battlefield?

   S    Size up the situation
  U   Undue haste makes waste
  R   Remember where you are
  V   Vanquish fear and panic
  I   Improvise
  V   Value living
  A   Act like the natives
  L   Learn basic skills

US Rangers are among the toughest of the tough. They adapt to their environment to survive. They accept the reality of their situation.

Five Key "Ranger" Questions About Your Career

  1. In what ways do you train yourself to be tough to handle stress?
  2. Are your SURVIVAL skills finely honed?
  3. How do you handle the rigors of career politics?
  4. What rating would you give yourself on being mentally tough?
  5. What else can military mind training teach you about your career?
